In accordance with standard product characteristics and usage behavior, flat-woven fabrics are prone to fuzzing, which can lead to the formation of nodules (pilling). External fibers may also accumulate on the material. Any nodules that develop can be removed with a lint shaver. Such fiber characteristics do not constitute grounds for a complaint. Discoloration caused by cushions and/or clothing fabrics is not a defect in the upholstery material. Variations in color and structure are typical for this type of product and do not justify complaints. The interaction of pressure, heat, and moisture can lead to varying degrees of pile displacement (pressure marks). This phenomenon, known as a ‘seating mark’ or ‘usage luster,’ is a standard characteristic of the upholstery and does not represent a reduction in quality.
